I believe that websites should be quick to make there point and not leave the user scrolling endlessly through content to find what there looking for. Content should be easy to find via carefully planned navigation links, and also 'state of the art' should never discourage or disadvantage visitors, particularly those with visual disabilities or those who may not have access to the very latest technological advances.
